On Wednesday, Dec. 12th, you are invited to Frost, a Winter Art Show, from 4-6 p.m. at the Morven Campus in the Art studios. This show seeks to capture the early steps of a year-long philosophy for our student artists to develop work that is rich in content, layered in techniques and unique to each student. Photographs, graphic designs, paintings, mixed media and short films will be the mediums on display.
In the FROST exhibit, you won't see work in glass frames, or in traditional exhibition spaces. Instead, you will see experiments with various techniques, materials and processes in small scale, often unpolished works. We call these small skill based challenges "bootcamps" or "skillcamps" in class.

The early work you will see at the show will eventually lead to larger scale, more complex and more personally directed projects which will be unveiled at the May Year end Art Show.
