Sean Buckles recently signed his Letter of Intent with Utah Valley University. Sean will be hitting the links next year for UVU who compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The WAC has an incredible history when it comes to inter-collegiate sports in the United States. Currently there are nine member schools in the WAC, eight of which who compete in men's golf.
Sean has played for the Collingwood golf team since he was in Grade 8. Last year, he was a key member of the Cavs' squad that brought home the AA provincial banner to Collingwood. Coach Payne will be counting on Sean to lead the way again this year.
Sean will be in the UVU Business School. The school is located just a short drive from Salt Lake City. It promises to be an incredible adventure for Sean as he competes against some of the best young golfers in the United States.
