The junior field hockey team continues to mature and despite their youth are playing fantastic hockey against some very tough North Shore teams. Here is a report from Coach Kovesi on yesterday's game:
The junior girls field hockey team played an excellent game against Argyle on Monday. The girls dominated the game, maintaining possession of the ball and demonstrating great maturity and technique in their ability to move the ball down the field and put pressure on the opposing net. The girls achieved their first shutout, with goaltender Riley Stevenson blocking all shots on net, and the game ended with a score of 0-0. This tie was definitely a game to be proud of – the girls showed a great deal of skill and teamwork, and played their best game yet!
