The senior volleyball team has all its starting players back from a year ago. The team will not be content with simply making the playoffs this year. Here is Coach Lee's report on their first league match of the year:
The Senior Girls Volleyball team kicked off their season last night with a victory over Rockridge. The team won the match 3-1. The Cavs led for the majority of the four sets and the coaches credit the victory to the strong all-around play from the team particularly the offensive contributions from Julia Petterson and Hazel Atkins. With most of the players from the team returning, the team is looking is looking to make a big impact on the North Shore league this year. The coaches are also expecting big things from up and coming Grade 11's Avin Saririan, Neeki Alavi, and Daisy Wang.
The team hopes to have a big crowd cheer them on in the next home game Tuesday Night against Mulgrave.
Hazel Atkins is a key member of a senior volleyball team that has great aspirations this year.
