After a three-week Christmas Break, there was no time to ease into the second half of basketball season as the Cavs were thrown right back into action. In fact, it ended up being a terrific week as Collingwood's teams went a perfect six-for-six in North Shore league action.
The Grade 8 and 9 boys played on Monday and both teams posted solid victories. The Grade 8 Cavs defeated Sentinel 58-18 and the Grade 9's defeated Rockridge 55-30. The Grade 8 girls followed this up on Tuesday with a 33-14 win over Sentinel.
On Wednesday, the Grade 8 boys kept their undefeated record intact with a 56-23 victory over Carson Graham. On the same day, the Junior Boys handled Elphinstone 70-7.
Finally, the senior girls finished the week off with a 82-6 dismantling of Sutherland.
James Tiwari was a key player in the Grade 9 boys' win over Rockridge.
