14th Annual Student Choreography Show

December 11 and 12, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Tickets are available at the door for $10, free for Collingwood students, faculty and staff. 

This show is the culmination of a major project for the senior dance classes and companies. The students study the elements of dance and explore different aspects of the choreographic process. Through improvisations, problem-solving and short movement studies, students discover their very own movement vocabulary. By nature, we are all dancers, with or without years of training. The choreographic process, whether one wishes to be a choreographer or not, is a superb model for thinking, assembling and creating. Creativity is important everywhere we go.
